It takes a village to raise a child.

As part of the village, CIL understands supporting a child means supporting parents and grandparents too. We don’t turn anyone away. We are rooted in our community. Along with our ongoing programming, we offer direct support and aid to the people we serve.

We rely on small donations from our community members to operate and provide completely free programming to our participants. We are the only non profit in the area that is completely free which makes us accessible
to those most in need. Consider making a contribution.

We need volunteers like you

Since 2014, we have served over 200 kids in the neighborhood with free programs, meals, field trips and more. Donations and community volunteers help our small team operate.

Lead a program

Do you have a skill or craft you would like to share? Lead a program! We host all kinds of classes and guest speakers for our participants. Anything from jewelry making, photography, LEGO engineering, baking, gardening and more. Contact us if you'd like to lead a program!
