Digital Photography Club

Lead by international photojournalist Patrick Mitchell, this program is a six week course where students learn the basics of photography including camera mechanics, exposure, lighting and composition. Students go out in the field and get hands on experience with a camera, learning to use their unique perspective and capture what they find interesting. Our Photography Club culminates in an art show where we display student's work along side professional artists.

CIL Summer Camp

Our camp is Monday –  Friday and  provides breakfast and lunch for kids aged 6-18. Camp includes a variety of sports, educational, arts, and cultural activities. We keep it fun and interesting to inspire kids! Summer camp is free to participants. Contact us to learn more!

CIL Food Pantry
The CIL Food Pantry is held the third Tuesday of each month at the Whitney Young Park in St. Martins Village. Doors Open at 12 noon.

Community Inspired Lexington has instituted its Memorial Scholarship in Honor of ​​our co-founder, Mike Thomas, and his niece Kamaria Spaulding who we lost much too soon.
Applications are open from February 1st through April 15th. Instructions and link will be open during that time.
